Somehow I keep leaving this until the last minute every day. Partly it's the rest of the Internets distracting me so much. Partly it's that recently the computer has been having more conniptions than usual. Partly it's that my sleeping patterns continue to be so unpredictable. But I think mostly it's that nothing much has been happening. Life has grown so dull that I have little to say that I haven't already said hundreds of times. For me, perhaps the worst thing about keeping a journal has been that I've found out how boring I am most of the time. Practically everything else in the world is more interesting, and yet I am so dull that all too often I can't think of a single thing to say even about that more interesting stuff.

I think I'm about to bore myself to sleep.
