This afternoon I'd intended to do the grocery shopping, but first there was a financial meeting I had to attend to, and it took a lot longer than I'd expected. I left the shopping until Sunday, but did stop at K-mart and got a bargain on filters for my Brita water pitcher. After I got home I fell asleep in front of the television again.

But then I suppose it's possible that a hypnotist might be living in my television, and while I think I'm asleep I'm actually doing bizarre things at his command for his entertainment. Maybe he even has a web cam trained on me and I'm doing bizarre things on the Internets and don't know it. Maybe that's why I seldom feel rested after one of those naps. Maybe I should replace that television.

But then that's probably not what's happening. Hypnotists rarely live in flat screen televisions. Unless they are really skinny hypnotists, of course, and most of those are snakes. If there had been a snake in the television I'm sure it would have been killed by the Meerkats on that Animal Planet show I used to watch.

It's probably a good thing I didn't shop today. There's no telling what I might have bought while in this mood.

Really? You always know the most interesting stuff that I never heard of before! ;D

It's true. And most of the really fat hypnotists are bears— but they mostly just hypnotize each other, which is why they end up hibernating for so much of their lives.
