After yesterday, with its busy sky, its big chunks of tree hitting the ground in the yard at the end of the block and shaking my house as I'm trying to sleep, its very similar but fainter thumping from the evening thunderstorm in the mountains, its frogs and crickets, today was rather dull. In fact that's why I just rehashed yesterday instead of writing anything about today. It was a bore. I'm glad it's almost over.

I've still got dishes to do because I got a bit ambitious for dinner. And I had to make room in the refrigerator because tomorrow is shopping day. Fixing was probably the most interesting thing that happened all day. When fixing dinner is more interesting than eating it, you're probably not even in journal entry territory anymore and should probably shut up. Enough said.

No pie this week. CAKE! A Safeway chocolate pudding ring, to be exact.

I've always actually been more of a cake person than a pie person, so yay! Those are usually kinda gooey, which is a good thing. :D

The chocolate pudding rings aren't as gooey as the fruit-based pudding rings, but still very moist.
