Big and Small

I woke up before dawn this morning, and never got back to sleep, so it's been a long day and I'm feeling the effects of it. Nevertheless, I'm fixing the BIG DINNER I've been looking forward to, and it will be ready very soon. I have to go mash some potatoes, cook some carrots, heat up some dinner rolls, and then make gravy. So far it smells really really good. Portia thinks so, too, and has been hovering around me all evening. She has no intention of missing out on her share.

I probably won't write any more later tonight, as I'm going to be too stuffed, and as exhausted as I am I'll probably pass out soon after eating. Big dinner, small journal entry.
