Reset Forty, Day Twenty-Two

rejectomorphFriday I got groceries. The ordering was not as easy as the store probably thinks it is, due to awkward design of the web site, and between that and my bad memory I ended up not getting several things I ought to have bought, including one thing I though I'd ordered but didn't. I was going to get another six pack of Deschutes porter, but apparently forgot to click the button. A couple of other things I just forgot altogether until after I'd gone through the digital checkout. Safeway says there is a way to edit an order, as long as you do it before a cutoff time, but they don't actually explain how. I tried to edit, to add a couple of the things I remembered too late, but in the absence of instructions I was unable to do so. An inconvenience for me, but Safeway left money on the table. I ended up getting some stuff I would have bought from them from a different store.
Anyway, there is stuff I needed and I can do without the rest for now. Btu I got up way too early, and even though I wasn't the one going out an picking the stuff up I was all tuckered out after it was done, and I ended up taking a nap from about ten o'clock in the evening until after two in the morning. That's why I'm up this late. I had dinner before the nap, but felt hungry again after I got up so I microwaved a ramen bowl. Five microwaveable noodle dishes were among the groceries I bought, though none were my first-choice items. None of the stores seem able to keep a good variety of such things on the shelves anymore. I was lucky to get the five I did find.
Light is coming into the sky already, though it's being moderated by clouds. The clouds will probably burn off later, and it's supposed to get up to 81 degrees today. Ugh. Bur I'm still tired, and hope to get back to sleep for a few more hours. I hope I can doze off before the sky gets too bright.
