I've spent a few hours reading the various posts about the problems of LiveJournal, and, being technologically inept, lacking in business skills, and financially marginal, I have no way of doing anything to help. But I was wondering: if Brad finally gets totally burned out on the whole project, would it be possible to incorporate LiveJournal as a non-profit organization with tax-exempt status? Maybe some sort of grant would be available from a foundation, providing enough money to actually pay a staff. Brad and the others could retain the rights to the program and the equipment, and the board of the non-profit could hire them to run the technical side of the operation. Just a thought.
