FALL, LEAVES, FALL

Emily Bronte

Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me,
Fluttering from the autumn tree.

I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night's decay
Ushers in a drearier day.

Not entirely sunny, but the clouds seem to be diminishing a bit. So, there is a good chance that it will be clear enough tonight to see the Leonids. It will probably be pretty cold, though, and the ground will be damp. I need a chaise of some sort. Mmmmmeteors...yum.

Grrr.

Clouding up again. Now has a little over six hours to clear up. Damned well better! Wanna see meteors!! Crappy mountain weather.

Weird saying. I don't know where it came from. Might be intersting to find out. Anyway. Patchy clouds, and very cold. I've spent some time looking up, but haven't seen anything yet. Getting anxious. C'mon, c'mon' c'mon. Meteors, meteors, meteors. Back outside now for another look.
