Two of my formerly unlinked interests have been turned into links by two recent arrivals. Movie Palaces are among the interests of new user
indiefilmpage, and poet Yvor Winters is an interest of
samram. One by one, my obscure interests are being matched by new users. Anybody heard of John Soane?

I have a CD writer, and had the basic Adaptec Easy CD Creator program installed, but it was too much for Sluggo to handle, so I took it out. In any case, the main thing for which I want to use the CD writer is saving image files. What I would like to find is a simple program which would allow me to save them to CD in the same way that they can be saved to a floppy. But I haven't been able to find such a program. Does anyone have any suggestions? Of course, I'm still running Windows 98 SE. (Punishment for evils committed in previous lives, no doubt.) Any help will be appreciated.

Nov. 23rd, 2001 07:22 pmIt has turned cold, and I have begun to sleep more. Maybe I'm picking up stray DNA from my cats, or maybe I've been possessed by a bear and begun to hibernate. Of course, it might just be that the bed is so cozy and warm on these chilly days nearing winter that I have no desire to wake up. Or the light of the sun may just not be bright enough to wake me up. But practical explanations are nowhere near as interesting as picking up cat DNA or being possessed by a bear, so I think I'll stick with one of those. In any case, what it all adds up to is a lot less time for other things, such as writing. So, there might be les of me here, until I become accustomed to the winter. Only a month until the solstice. ::yawn:: Where'd I put that honey pot?
