Powerless!

Last night, they turned the power off at ten o'clock. (I wrote an entry about it yesterday evening, but Sluggo didn't want it posted.) This third-world experience was brought to me by PiGgiE, the Pacific Gas and Electric Company. They are doing some kind of upgrade (HA!) to the local system. Anyway, I got to read from paper by the light of my battery-powered lamp. The lights came back on about five this morning. I hope the power is more reliable here, now. Everything else, of course, is still falling apart.

Ouch!

Hangnail. Luckily, it's my little finger, which I don't need for typing. It annoys me, anyway.

Juno is a silly ISP. They just sent me an updated list of access numbers. It is the same three numbers I already had. Dumbasses.

Sluggo is being so unstable that I haven't been able to catch up with my reading after the seven hours withpout electricity last night. I have to keep the posts really short, too. How short do they have to be?

This, short, I'd say.
