Crows screech the news that another night has passed. Every night, I plan to get to sleep early, and then I get busy doing something and lose track of time. Alarm clocks don't manage to wake me up. Maybe I could use one to tell me when it's time for bed.

I see that the morning sky is rumply with clouds again. They aren't supposed to bring more than light sprinkles this time. If I wake up early enough, I might get to see a partly cloudy afternoon. My favorite kind, even when it's cold.

The most annoying thing is that I didn't even get started on half the things I wanted to do tonight. Someone must get to work on slowing the earth's rotation. I think a thirty hour day would be just about right.
