Fell asleep in front of the television again. I'd seen that movie before, anyway. There's no telling what effect this is going to have on my schedule, though.

Saturn has gotten way ahead of the moon. I think I saw Mars up there, too, but I'm not sure. I've lost track of the planets during the long spells of rain and cloud. I'll have to hunt them down again.

Morning full of crows already, and small birds chirping. It will be hard to sleep, especially with these clear skies admitting all that terrible sunlight.

Days are growing balmy once more: the sky draped with wispy clouds, the flowers re-energized and blooming, hummingbirds darting about. This evening, frogs are croaking for the first time in more than week. Enough chill lingers that going out into the night air is uncomfortable unless I wear a jacket, but it will probably be warmer tomorrow. I have mixed feelings. I'm pleased to feel spring arriving, but not pleased that Sluggo has not yet been replaced after all. Warmer weather is bound to bring trouble. I have also seen mole trails in one of the flower beds. The last cat is not good at depleting the rodent population. Maybe a stray will come hunting.

Say goodnight, Sluggo. Say goodnight, March.
