Everybody starts the weekend early now

Vacant around here today.

But oh, tantalizing sky! All that roiling cloud all afternoon, and not a drop of rain would it relinquish! Hoarder! Then night comes, and the clouds just dissipate, leaving exposed stars that mock like distant raindrops. Plus, the air has gotten cold again, and the frogs have fallen silent. I'm glad I've got my new over-sized fleece hoodie.

Again I must console myself with popcorn. Lack of rain will leave me fat.
