Reset Forty-Two, Day Three

rejectomorphThe illegal fireworks began going off by four o'clock Monday afternoon, when I'd been awake for about three hours. I'm glad they didn't start earlier and interrupt my sleep. The explosions became more frequent as evening fell, and after dark became quite numerous. The scofflaws have learned that there is protection in numbers. The police can't be everywhere at once. I doubt that anyone actually got arrested anyway.
The noise was done by midnight, by which time I'd made a three-course dinner and munched it, and had watched an array of videos on YouTube, some of which featured explosions themselves. I continued Idernetting until a short time ago, when I suddenly hit a wall. Now I can barely keep my eyes open, and intend to flop into bed as soon as I post this entry. It's not quite as cool as last night, but tonight I'm too tired to care. Maybe I will dream of the beach. I probably won't remember if I do, but at least it might happen and my subconscious will enjoy it.
