Sun Day

The clouds stayed mostly over the valley today, so it was sunny here and I didn't have to get wet going shopping. Even better, tomorrow is supposed to be warmer than today. I don't know if it will be warm enough for me to have the windows open, but that would be very nice. Today, despite the bright sunlight, was still very chilly, and the furnace has been cycling on with worrisome frequency. The warm air rising from the vents pleases Portia, but then she doesn't have to pay the bill. She purrs, and I calculate what I'll have to put off buying so I can pay a larger power bill than I'd expected to have. It must be fun to be the cat.
