Squirrely

The first thing I saw upon looking out my window this morning was three squirrels frolicking on my lawn. There's nothing like starting your day with an overload of cuteness. But I can't sit around watching squirrels all day— well, I suppose I could, actually, but I wanted my orange juice, and when I got back to the window the squirrels had gone. Later, the day warmed up enough that I was able to open the windows for an hour or so, and then I saw more squirrels, but they were busier than me and didn't hang around to watch me do laundry.

The squirrels probably knew that the mild weather wouldn't last. It turned cool as evening fell, and now it's getting quite chilly. There will probably be more rain tomorrow, and I'll probably get wet going to the chiropractor to get my head yanked about. Fortunately, I won't have to make any other stops. I will have to haul the wheelie bins in from the street, though. Why does it always rain on wheelie bin days?
