More Summer Complaints

It was another day that was determined to knock me on my arse. After I got back from the chiropractor I fell asleep for about four hours. The feral cats were annoyed at the lateness of their dinner, and I might be equally annoyed at the lateness of mine, but I'm too near comatose to know for sure. I haven't heard any thunder, but there was a light sprinkling of rain this morning. It smelled nice to have the dry lawn damp for a few minutes, but the damp soon evaporated.

The clouds persist and more rain is a possibility, but I won't hold my breath. I wish it was going to cool off tonight, but it isn't. Having the air conditioner running all the time is messing with my sinuses. At least the air hasn't been smelling of smoke this evening, but maybe it's there and I've just lost the ability to smell. I'll be glad when this week is over.

I think I need another nap.
