Nov. 29th, 2014 06:53 pmIt has been raining most of the day again, and the Internet has slowed to a crawl. That's what happens when the telephone company's equipment gets wet. It will probably be slow for the next several days. I haven't been able to open the page at the weather web site, so I don't know for sure. I have to post this entry with a client, as my browser crashed when I was trying to open LJ's web update page.
I'll most likely be doing a lot of non-Internets things on the computer. There are a lot of photos I've never gotten around to sorting, so maybe I can do that. More likely I'll end up spending more time with the television, though I might read a book or two. But I feel like I've slipped back into the pre-web age, and it's making me nervous. I don't even have a newspaper anymore, so the television is my only source of information, and the television tells nothing but lies (the Internets only tell mostly lies.)
