This afternoon I tried to watch three movies, and fell asleep during parts of all of them. Movie-missing catnaps are so annoying. But then given the heat it was not surprising. I didn't sleep at all well last night, and don't expect to sleep well tonight. Thankfully, the forecast is saying it should start getting cooler again tomorrow, though the lowest high predicted for the next week is 84, which is not really cool at all, except relatively.
Nights should be cooler, too, so I probably won't need the air conditioner after tonight. Good thing, too, because I'm developing a cough. It occurs to me that I have failed to clean the HVAC filter for several months, so that might have something to do with it. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow, if it doesn't slip my mind again. I'll bet I'm inhaling some really nasty stuff.
The moon is nicely gibbous tonight, and though I still hear no crickets I think I'll be spending some time outside watching it. There were some nice clouds hanging around today, but most of them appear to have dissipated. Too bad. I enjoy watching clouds in moonlight.
One of the local supermarkets keeps refusing to show me its online ad this week. I'll have to use the paper ad to make out my shopping list. I hope I can remember how to do that. The paper has no port for my keyboard or mouse, and I can't seem to find where on the page they've hidden their scroll button....
