Unfestive

Totally forgot this was Halloween. That's what happens when you live in a place with no trick-or-treaters or drag queens. It's raining again anyway, so anybody who went out would be getting wet. But maybe I should celebrate in some small way. Maybe I'll eat that Hershey bar I've got in the refrigerator (it was summer when I bought it, so I put it in the refrigerator not to melt and then forgot about it until now.) Or I could break open my last roll of Necco wafers. I don't know when I'll be able to get back to Kmart— the only place I know of that has them anymore— for more, though.

Plus I have no costume. Halloween candy is always more festive when one is wearing a costume. I suppose I could dig out one of my old stocking caps and pretend I'm dressed as a Canadian. I haven't worn them since I started buying hoodies, but I think I've got one or two stuffed into a drawer somewhere. There's nothing else I can think of. Don't want to cut holes in any of my bedsheets for a ghost costume, and ghost is about the dullest costume anybody can wear anyway. Ah, hell with it. I'll just eat some chocolate chips and watch television in my regular clothes.
