Reset Forty, Day One
Apr. 9th, 2022 04:06 amFriday afternoon grew quite sweltery, even though (or perhaps because) it was rather cloudy. The clouds weren't thick but they were abundant, stretching from horizon to horizon for some time. Sitting outside became unpleasant, so I spent most of the day indoors. In any case, I was still tired from Thursday's outing. But it was nice to luxuriate with both a cupcake and a donut.
I'm still tired now, and will head to bed as soon as I've gone out to listen to the night for a minute or two, in case the mockingbird is singing. He was out there earlier, but it might be getting too chilly now. A wind is expected to kick up tonight, and continue through the weekend into Monday. The good news is that we might get just a bit more rain, with showers possible both Monday and Thursday. Plus it's going to be much cooler all week, with most of the highs in the sixties. I might not be done with the furnace for the year just yet. As long as I don't need to air conditioner yet, I can deal with it.
I've stumbled on another interesting guitarist, Luca Stricagnoli, and have watched several of his YouTube videos today. Here's his surprisingly relaxing take on Metallica's "Fade to Black".
