Reset Forty-Four, Day Twelve

Friday was one of those days I ought to have taken a nap but didn't. Now I'm just I can't really remember much— well, anything— about it, but I'm pretty sure I must have eaten a sandwich, because I forgot to put the pickle jar back and there's an empty beer bottle on the counter. Evidence! I need to use forensics to discover what I've done. That's weird.

It's going to get hot today, though only in the low nineties, and the apartment cooled off quite nicely overnight. Much better than a couple of weeks ago. We'll be back down to highs in the eighties in a few days, and the nights are going to remain cool for the foreseeable future. One disappointment in the long range forecast is no more rain in sight. The one storm was nice, but I was hoping we'd get a bit more. Some rain every couple of weeks through the fall would greatly reduce the odds of having a dangerous late fire season. But at least we don't have any very windy periods coming up.

My hair is tickling my ears. I need to trim it. Or get botox in the ears so I can't feel the tickling.
