Reset Forty-Five, Day Eight

An early phone call regarding the settlement in the class action suit against PG&E for the fire in 2018 disrupted my sleep Wednesday, leading to much brain hamster action followed by afternoon exhaustion and a rather restless nap that ended shortly before dusk. I appear to have lost my capacity to be excited, though not (alas) my capacity to be anxious. Mostly I'm just sad because of the reminder that money can't really replace the most significant losses. I'll get over it, I guess. Or not.
