Reset Forty-Five, Day Twenty

Groceries were fetched Monday, with not too much difficulty, though trouble with the store's web site led to my not getting a few items I'd intended to buy. As I was shopping, my mouse would quit working, and as it still worked on other web sites I knew the problem was with the store's site. I reloaded the page and the mouse began working again. I had to reload pages four or five times. I later discovered that the reloads were leading to changes in my order. I fixed most of them, but missed a couple, so now I'm almost out of milk and I didn't get three of the four cans of minestrone I'd initially ordered. It was the lowest price I'd gotten on soup in years, so I'm quite disappointed. I can probably get someone to pick up some milk at Trader Joe's, which is nearby, but the soup would be too much trouble.

After the groceries were fetched I was exhausted, even though I had remained here the entire time, and I ended up taking along evening nap which lasted until two o'clock this morning. I'm about ready to get back to sleep now, though light has arrived in the sky. It has grown quite chilly overnight, and I would have enjoyed a bedtime cup of cocoa with a shot of brandy, but there's not enough milk. But there will be a chocolate cupcake for breakfast this afternoon. Donuts later in the week. So much excitement!
