After some delay, I got groceries Tuesday. The delay due to the store's web site failure turned out at least partly advantageous, as a few tings that had been pout of stock Monday were available Tuesday. This was offset by a couple of things that had vanished. I also forgot a couple of things that I'd intended to get, since I didn't have access to my online list, but I suppose I can do without those things. At least I've got donuts, milk, orange juice, and almond flour to add a bit of protein to my cereals and pancakes.

The weather continues to be wet, though a break is expected Thursday, which will also be unseasonably balmy with a high of 60 predicted. After that it will be back to the rain for several more days, diminishing late next week, and then January 22 could be an actual sunny day. The oddest thing is that the nights are expected to be so mild. Only a few will get down even into the high thirties, and most will be in the forties, with a couple even staying in the fifties. It's barely like winter at all, except for the rain.

Right now I'm hearing the rain drip outside as the first light come into the sky. I've been awake for about four hours and expect to go back to sleep soon. I've been dozing off while listening to a music video YouTube suggested. It's a song by James Taylor I hadn't listened to in a long time, even though I like it very much. Coperline a nostalgic piece about his boyhood in rural North Carolina (Hercules was his dog) and the North Carolina novelist and poet Reynolds Price collaborated on the lyric, which I think is one of Taylor's best.
