I got through Monday and much was accomplished, but it was exhausting. Not actually going out and doing shopping is much more tiring than I could have imagined. But I now have a whole bunch of stuff, and so far I haven't recalled forgetting anything except a head of garlic. It's okay, I can substitute garlic powder. But I did do some miscalculation. I bought several things that will go bad if not soon eaten, and they outnumber the the dinners I'll need. I might have to resort to eating some of them for lunches. Two actual meals a day is another thing that will be tiring. I already had one big meal Monday evening, and it has made me quite logy. More nights like this upcoming, I fear.

The only substitution to my online order was orang juice. The store had an amazing deal that would have netted me three bottles for $6.21, but of course they ran out. Instead I got the next best deal available, which was $3.50 a bottle, at a different store. One other disappointment was that I couldn't access one store's beer sale due to a glitch in their online ordering system. But I'm set for beer for the next couple of weeks anyway, just not as economically as I'd hoped I'd be.

I attempted a nap after all the excitement of squeezing groceries into my limited space, but found I was unable to sleep, despite being short of it. I'm getting very sleepy now, and intend to get to bed shortly. There's more rain due today, but not until afternoon. The weekend is actually expected to be sunny, though still chilly. In fact no really warm days are forecast until the beginning of April. So far the food control systems in this region are functioning well, but some other parts of the state have gotten inundated. Chances are that the storm over the next couple of days will be the last big disruptor of this very strange season.

If I yawn any more I'll split at the ears. I'm going to bed.
