Reset Forty-Nine, Day Twenty-One

Tuesday I spent in OMG The Heat mode. Every time I woke from fitful sleep I tried to throw off covers I'd already discarded, or if the air conditioner came on and put me in a draft, tried to claw the covers back. There's no escaping the discomfort this time of year, and the next couple of days will get worse. The only good news is that next Tuesday might only get up to 76 degrees. Sadly, it will be sandwiched between a long string of highs in the eighties and nineties. Odds are there won't be an extended letup from this until October. I expect I'll be dead from heat stroke by October.

I need to sleep more now. I hope I can. It's still uncomfortably hot in here.

And God, this Idernet connection has gotten so slow!
