Reset Forty-Nine, Day Twenty-Two

The songbirds are singing in the public boughs, and I can barely recall the last 24 hours. It has been very hot, and I have been very uncomfortable. I watered the plants in the back yard Wednesday evening, including the grape vine, which has a very large number of infant grape clusters on it. I also remembered to bring in the recycling wheelie bin from the street. It is usually brought in by one of the other tenants, but one of them has been gone since the beginning of last weekend, and the other is in and out off and on and apparently unfocused on such mundane tasks. I have no idea what is going on. Nobody tells me anything. Maybe that's because I never ask, but whatever.

Annoying things: Sneezing, probably pollen related, but whatever the source I find it more unpleasant than it once was. In fact it can be downright painful at times. Other annoying thing: The old leg and foot itch. I keep forgetting to get some kind of moisturizing cream, as I suspect it is dryness that is triggering the itch. There was a third annoying thing but thinking about the other two completely drove it out of my head, so it must have been less annoying than them.

Right now I'm hoping to stop itching long enough to get to sleep. Not feeling great these days and need to sleep a lot. Moving up on tomorrow's peak heat, I'm not expecting the next few days to be pleasant. I wish I could go to the beach.
