Reset Forty-Nine, Day Forty

I hardly have days at all these days. Sunday I spent hours trying to get to sleep, then fewer hours sleeping, and still didn't get out of bed until late afternoon. Still exhausted that evening, I went back to bed shortly before sunset, expecting to be up again by ten, but didn't get up until after two o'clock in the morning. I then ate my very late dinner, which was only a sandwich, and have let my brain maunder since. The apartment hardly cooled off at all, even with windows open and fan on. I think I'll have to run the air conditioner for several minutes to cool the bedroom enough to make sleep possible. I'm not expecting a good day. Three more hot days, but slightly less hot nights for a while. Thankful for small favors.
