Once again the nightmare that is online shopping has consumed an entire night, leaving me bereft of sleep. Not only was there too much stuff to buy at Safeway, but prior to that I bought way too much stuff at Kohl's and J. C. Penney. Bit now I do have (or will when it is delivered) sufficient (I hope) blankets for the winter and sufficient underwear that will accommodate my avoirdupoisity without excessive discomfort.
Exactly the right amount of discomfort has not been determined by any institution or government agency, as far as I know, but I remain hopeful that I have made the right choices in any case. It's difficult to function without guidance, especially when the functioning itself has induced great trauma of brain, the consequence of which is like unto being excreted. Yes, I am pooped, and must attempt sleep in the thin parcel of time fate has delivered to me this day. I hope my various purchases arrive with similar alacrity, if (I hope) with less distress.
