Thursday I got batteries installed in the fire alarms, so the irritating chirp has ended. I also got my package of tea, and made the first cup about three in the afternoon, and with a little squirt of local hive honey it was quite tasty. I'll have to drink it every day for several days to know if it will be entirely satisfactory, but it was certainly a perfect beverage for the rainy afternoon, and no caffeine, so I slept pretty well that evening.
With luck, groceries will be fetched Friday, although my niece is going to be starting a new job, so weekday grocery fetching might soon be out. That will mean no more Friday or Monday sales.
And I just almost fell asleep at the computer again, after not even noticing that it's daytime now. It's a wonder I didn't fall out of my chair. I wonder if Medicare covers old dumbass syndrome? Probably not. I'd better go back to bed for a while. When I wake up it should be a sunny afternoon. I'll get to see how the new tea goes with that.
