Reset Forty-Nine, Day Two Hundred Eighty-Five

It's very likely I did something stupid Tuesday, but whatever it was I've forgotten it. Maybe I'll remember when I feel a chomp being taken out of my ass sometime over the next week or so. Right now all I know is that I managed to get to sleep and then managed to wake up again, both of which were noteworthy accomplishments. I wonder if I can do that again? I've been on a streak for several decades now, but it's bound to end sooner or later. To be honest, I'm expecting sooner.

The supermarket ads have disappointed me again this week. I like to pad out the things I need with some nice sale items as bonuses or as things to stock up on, but the offerings this week are mediocre at all the local stores. Last week Safeway had some good stuff, but I didn't need anything so didn't go. My timing has been very bad, and once again I've run out of stuff either too early or too late.

This morning's wan sun anticipates the few showers that are predicted for this afternoon, but I'm not expecting my dull life to be improved by them. My dull life proceeds from my dull mind, and all the rain we've had this year has failed to wash that dullness away, so a little bit more is unlikely to succeed. I probably can't sleep it away either, but I can sure as hell try. Watch me!
