Wednesday I made a fairly decent soup for dinner and baked some packaged biscuits to go with it, and of course I ate too much have been stuffed and sloshy ever since. But then my nap took place entirely in daylight, so I've now been up for several hours and will soon go back to sleep and not now how stuffed and sloshy I am unless I barf and wake myself up, but then having barfed I wont be stuffed or sloshy anymore, so it will all work out. All is for the best, in the best of all possible worlds.
No more rain is scheduled until Saturday, an that could be fairly light. The succeeding three days could also bring some rain, but probably still less than Saturday. Any at all helps, though, and might be helping me in particular. I've been sneezing a lot today, and I suspect that it's pollen from those nasty little flowers that are now blooming on the back yard bush. If rain washes that out of the air I'll be very grateful indeed. Sneezing these days is not just unpleasant, but sometimes painful, as I can twist muscles and throw joints out with the sudden, explosive motion. Yet another unanticipated consequence of aging.
I think I'm going to sleep right now. I mean quite literally. I just nodded off and came very close to falling out of my chair. It's fall into bed or just fall over. Guess who doesn't like just falling over. Yeah, this old guy.
