The world did not appear significantly changed Monday afternoon following the eclipse. While it was underway I looked out the window a few times but the atmosphere seemed barely dimmed at all. I stepped outside and did the hole in the paper thing to project an image of the sun with a tiny bite of shadow taken from it. The air was already unpleasantly warm, early though it was. I did not see a single Christian being raptured. I'd have thought there'd be at least a few in this neighborhood, but I guess the place is more sinful than I'd thought. This knowledge just made me sadder, thinking of all the fun I must have missed around here. Why have my pagan neighbors never included me in their revels? I might as well have gone to church.

Oh, got distracted and didn't finish or post. Forgot what I was going to say now. I think it's getting too warm and what's left of my brain is shorting out. Better just post before I forget again.
