I just want to get this out of the way before I go to bed. All my inattentiveness has made me clock shy. It wouldn't surprise me if they all exploded, nor if they didn't. Reality is the home of so many weird little shocks and surprises that they have become mundane irritations. For example, the dead car the tenants in the front apartment have had sitting in one of their spaces for two years or so was gone when I went to the mailbox Monday, and one of the tenants between here and there was out and told me the landlord is going to convert the front apartment, the biggest one in the joint, into an Air B&B (or whatever it is called.) Okay.
So, muddled strangers coming and going all the time and perhaps knocking on my door for recommendations of things to do in the mini-metropolis? I have none. I know as little about this place as I do about Sheboygan or Biloxi. Oh, and the tenants up front were evicted for this. Am I on the same chopping block? No clue. I know I'll have to leave this place eventually, as I'm getting closer and closer to being unable to look after myself, but damn, I wanted to live in denial a bit longer. And I've heard tales of people renting such accommodations just to throw wild parties that might get them kicked out of their own regular rentals. This is a college town. Am I going to be at risk of having fifty frat boys puking and pissing in the bushes under my bedroom window? I so, who is going to clean that up? Clearly not I.
Anyway, I just ate some cookies, and I hope the excessive sugar doesn't cause anything weird to happen in my sleep. I probably should have had some popcorn instead, but didn't remember soon enough. Now I feel like that TV ad from the seventies: "Christ Almighty, I could have had a V8!" Is that how it went? Probably not, but I'm tired and need to sleep. Maybe things or I will make sense when I wake up. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
