52/19: We Knew this Year was a Snake

Only now do I remember that Wednesday was the start of the Chinese New Year. It's the year of the snake. I think I knew that already, though of course I had forgotten. The forecast is still promising five days with rain and two or three more with showers over the next week, so there's something to be happy about. My headache and wonky neck are still annoying me so there's something to not be happy about. Looks like I've got it all!

And now I've let another day waste away, much like my brain. It's been a rather chilly day, and my feet got very cold while I was asleep. It woke me up a couple of times. Right now it's trying to force me back in to bed and under the cozy (with an extra throw over my feet) covers, but I have things to do. Being sleepy a whole lot. Still old, apparently. Not dead yet.
