52/463: Sultry

So I'm making things a bit weirder by doing another grocery order tomorrow. Normally I wouldn't shop again until the 19th, but Safeway has a couple of items rarely on sale that I could really use this week, so I'm pulling the trigger (though that's a weird metaphor.) That means the next shopping after this won't be until the 26th. I don't know yet what the weather will be then, but the 12th will be hot as hell, and the 26th is supposed to be merely balmy, so bad timing, but there it is. I really want that big loaf of cheese at 1/3 off.

Tonight I won't be able to open the windows until after midnight. The low is only going down to 68, so even after the windows get opened and the fan turned on it won't be cooling off indoors very much. Lat night it only got down to 76, and tonight will probably be even worse. The weekend is utterly fecked, and early next week even worse. And the summer solstice is still ten days away. Well, nine days from Friday. Which is breathing hot down my neck right now.
