Reset Forty-Eight, Day Ten

rejectomorphI didn't manage to get my grocery fetching operation scheduled for today, so I'm probably going to miss the Friday sale items. It's too bad, there were several I'd have liked to get, but by morning it's going to be too late to shop online and arrange a reasonable pickup time. There's still stuff I need on sale the rest of the week (until Tuesday) so it's not a complete disaster, just a disappointment.
Thursday's sleep wasn't great, and I'm still being plagued with annoying age-related aches and pains. The rain didn't begin until rather late in the evening, though intermittent sprinkles arrived before sunset. Right now it is raining quite heavily, and the wind sounds at times quite fierce. I'm getting this entry out of the way earlier than usual, as there could be a power outage. The storm advisory is in effect until noon today, and the wind advisory until four this afternoon.
And now I need a snack. I'd really like a stiff drink, but I'll settle for a snack.
