I've finally eaten Monday's dinner (a sandwich) at six o'clock Tuesday morning. I felt crappy all day Monday and only ate a can of soup in the evening before going back to sleep. There was a lot of rain Monday and a perpetual overcast, which suited my mood, but of course I slept through most of it. I would wake up now and then and hear the rain falling or the wind blowing, and return to not-entirely-restful sleep. Today is apt to be more of the same. It's raining again right now. Maybe this life will wash away as I sleep and I'll wake in a different world.
