I just spent half an hour watching a sunset that went from the color of a ripe peach to the color of a plum. Now I want fruit.



20,000 pictures of streetcars! If you must have them all (I think I will be unable to do without them) the contents of the (nonprofit) site is available on a two CD set for a mere 15 bucks. I'm impressed.

Wow, that needs a long answer, and I ought to make a post about it. But the short version is that my affection for streetcars probably has a lot to do with nostalgia, and with the fact that I'm one of those rare individuals who actually likes public transportation. Also, I like the era in which streetcars were common. It was an interesting time.
