rejectomorphFiasco. Exhausted from short sleep and busy afternoon Monday, then plagued by the onset of an annoying toothache when I attempted an evening nap, I was unable to eat any of the stuff I bought from the store, and then (distracted!) I failed to charge my phone and lost Idernet about eleven o'clock. While waiting for it to recharge, I decided to rest my sore again feet but fell asleep when a draft from the fan crossed the bed and I pulled a cover over myself. Next thing I Knew it was morning coming in the window like an Irish grandmother (no I have no idea what that phrase even means, it just popped into my frazzled head) and I argued with her for awhile (again, no idea) until I finally got up, and muddled (through the mental mud) up to... now!
And all those hours no journal update. Didn't even read until the brain fog partly lifted. The toothache has been intermittent, and I'm hoping it doesn't persist or I'll be unable to eat a lot of the stuff I just bought. I did eat (slowly) a couple of pieces of toast from the fresh loaf of crusty bread I got, and it was super crunchy just the way I like it and it was very difficult to chew because of the angry tooth. Ow, hurt! I'm still hoping the angry tooth will calm down, as it has a couple of times recently, but I know eventually it (or they, more likely, as the pain is on both top and bottom anymore) will have to be dealt with properly by an actual dentist. I've been putting that off for so long!
But now I've got a whole noon to deal with. I had actually intended to sleep more after I first got up, still tired, but now I'm sort of wired, and thinking about eating a soft, fresh donut, which might not recharge the pain bank in my tooth(s). Really hungry, and I'd like some tea. Old guys are so cranky when they don't get what they want, I fear I might be really bad company for myself if I'm awake for the rest of the day. Oh well. Might as well get on with it.
