Aye caramba! Somehow Wednesday got left in Thursday's ample dust. It's now a big blur. After a half night's sleep I spent this morning online ordering stuff from Safeway. I was considering getting stuff from Rite Aid as well, as they've sent me another decent coupon, but I was shopped out again. Then I napped for a while and got up to make out bills for my niece to drop off at a mailbox. When I ordered form Safeway they were already out of one big thing I'd intended to buy, so I didn't buy other stuff that would have gone with it either. Now I've got a whole different menu for the next week than I'd planned on having.
Anyway, I hope the oddness is over for now, and I can get back to something that resembles what passes for normal around here. Right now we're experiencing a very grey late afternoon, and the forecast has suddenly changed to predict rain this evening. I think I'm going to take a nap soon, and wait until later (probably much later) for dinner. It will just involve heating something up (and buttering some fresh French bread) so easy enough. But the lights have flickered a couple of times in the last few minutes, so I think the approaching storm might be messing with the electric grid. I ought to shut the computer down. It needs a rest after all that shopping as much as I do.
