rejectomorphMonday brought some intermittent drizzle, mostly after nightfall, but nothing very impressive. Most of the day I slept away, waking now and then to dissolving fragments of dreams. In short, not unlike daily life, but without me being conscious of it. An improvement.
Evening, I made a sandwich for dinner and remained focused long enough to eat it, though not sufficiently to now recall what was in it. I do remember there was beer with it. Somehow I arrived at the present moment without returning to bed, though not without returning to sleep, and I have been experiencing the miracle of not falling out of my chair. I think I should no longer press my luck.
I Leave you with the lullaby I've had on repeat for the last hour or so, which I might have (and probably did) post previously: Charlie Watts quintet with London Metropolitan Orchestra and the vocals of Bernard Fowler singing Ira Gershwin's lyric to Jerome Kern's melody "Long Ago and Far Away." I can't recommend it if you have things to do, but I recommend it most highly once those things are done. Sweet dreams (to me, momentarily.)
