Reset Fifty, Day Eighteen

rejectomorphI just finished my rather odd Sunday dinner, and I'm listening to the aircraft flying over the neighborhood. They began at dawn, and they are firefighting aircraft, as all regular air traffic from the mini-metropolitan airport has been cancelled. The entire airport neighborhood is shut down, which is probably detrimental to the businesses up there, but screw them. Damn woke firefighters and their cancel culture. Back in my day you went to work and kept your business open even as you and your customers were consumed by the flames, and you liked it. Kids these days are such snowflakes.
Anyway, I've got another fairly cool morning to sleep through, and I hope my sleep doesn't get interrupted by drywall guy. I'm having a bit of headache today and I'd just as soon not have to deal with any disruptive nonsense. But of course I'm not getting advance warning of when stuff is going to happen, so I just don't know. I'm too tired to know anyway, even though I slept from early evening until almost midnight Sunday night. My eyes don't enjoy being open anymore.
