51/105: Bird
Dec. 27th, 2024 08:08 amI think I've been up since midnight, and I've eaten twice since then, but I don't remember what I ate the first time. The second time I ate a French bread pizza that I found in the freezer without a package, so I had to look up the heating instructions on the Idarwebs. Anyway, its plastic sleeve had ice in it, so I knocked that off and heated it, and the crust turned out very crunchy but the bread under the toppings was almost gooey. I think the thing had been in there at least six months, The flavor was still good, but I'm sure there is about to be intense indigestion. I intend to go back to sleep anyway, and let the chunks fall if and where they may.
Safeway has a good sale again this week, but I wont be going because I'm all stocked up. I had really crappy timing this month. I'll be going next week, and expect the sale to be mediocre at best. I suspect I'm out of step with good fortune, and should probably consult a witch. The problem is I don't know any witches. I'm sure there are some around, but hell (appropriately enough) if I know how to find them. I guess that's what I get for not having a cat anymore. But at least I'm not having any real trouble sleeping. A lot.
Rain is likely again this afternoon, and tomorrow, but the next big storm is due Sunday. That is well timed, at least. No mail on Sunday, so no soggy magazines. Also I don't have to go out, so no soggy me either. Yay Sunday and holiday storms.
