52/56: Really
Mar. 12th, 2025 03:26 amGood grief! That day we just had —Tuesday, I think— it got mild, but not quite mild enough for me to bathe without a bit of furnace heat, so I boosted the thermostat to 71 and then forgot to turn it back down until five minutes ago, so I had the place hot for about sixteen hours. That's going to be expensive. And in the evening I did another stupid old man trick, forgetting to put the phone on to recharge and losing Idernet, so I'll be getting to bed about an hour later than I'd expected.
Wednesday is when the rain returns, and three days worth is expected, with lots of wind accompanying the first day. After that we get a dry day, then get more rain early next week. I'm going to be wishing I'd saved that heat I wasted earlier, as it will be getting chilly again. But I'm sure I'll be sleeping through a lot of it. I'm going to sleep now. Or at least to bed. Sleep might take a bit longer. I've got a headache, probably from having the furnace on too high too long. Must be more attentive. Probably won't be. Old. Really, really old.
