An icy, moonless night of sparkling stars. Where shafts of light fell from porch lights and windows, the wet pavements were shiny black. Except for the traditional midnight outburst, all was quiet. About twelve minutes after midnight, I realized that I am tired of this year. Something needs to be done to liven it up. Any ideas?
