Ok. This is one of those days when I must accept that I will never catch up.

I have some thoughts on the absence of larks where the field has vanished beneath houses. Something to not forget for later.

Hi. I think that the last time anyone found me fascinating was when I was about 40. (Possibly. That was quite a while ago, and my memory may be playing tricks on me.) At one time, I thought that I would become more fascinating as I got older, but so far, it hasn't happened. In fact, of late I've begun to lose interest in myself. That's why I write about trees and clouds and such instead of about my dull everyday life.

Also, I'm pretty sure that my evil computer is reporting every word I say to his even more evil master, Bill Gates.

Anyway, some stuff about me does slip out in this journal, from time to time, on those occasions when I quit worrying about boring myself and others with my nostalgic ramblings. I don't have instant messaging (oh, my typing is so slow, anyway.) As for e-mail, I may be the most unreliable correspondent around. I've owed my best friend a letter since before last Christmas, and there are others I must write as well. In the meantime, I take the easy way out and tell my friends to just read the journal. (Well, I told them -- last time I wrote to them.) Every day I thank Brad that he has made laziness so much easier! Anyway, I almost never make friends-only posts, so virtually everything in here can be read by anyone. Also, I can answer questions here, and might actually do so.

(Watch for the long delayed post about the candy store across the street from my intermediate school, coming soon! As soon as I get off of on my ass and finish it!)
