Belated Winter Night

No snow, thus far, but lots of tiny ice crystals alternating with cold rain. I'll bet there's snow farther up in the mountains, maybe just a few miles away. This weather is expected to continue for several days, so we might get a dusting yet. Every time the rain stops for a few minutes, I look out the window to see if the silence is due to snow. At the moment, it's due only to a fog which has crept in. I'm refusing to be surprised at anything.

Since most of my brain is still missing in action, I will post another picture. (Hey, it's better than those on line quiz things.)

I'm just enjoying the smugness of knowing it's 65F and sunny here.

But then I love snow as well, I love the peacefulness when they shut the Motorway and there is nothing but silence and snow.
