It is expected to reach the mid 90's here today. Bad news. Last night was cool enough that I was able to catch up with some e-mail, though not all of it. It will be back to extreme instability tonight, I'm afraid.
Some time after midnight, I saw Mars rising in the southeast -- somewhere over Texas, from my point of view. It must be near right now, as it was very bright. Its baleful red eye shone in the unclouded sky until the glow of the approaching sun blotted it out a few minutes ago.
Night gone, heat coming, must sleep.
