The rain never came. Instead, the clouds thinned and scattered and drifted all day through the blue. I haven't been getting outdoors much, and it's been a couple of weeks since I've been for a walk. Not good, I'm sure. Without the right exercise, my back is likely to get nasty with me. Prospects don't look too good for the near future, either.

It's gotten warmer in the house this evening, even though the day was mild. All that attic heat is seeping down. Sluggo's hatred of heat thus limits my time. Warmer tomorrow, alas.

How many times must I hit "Update" before it actually happens? There ought to be a betting pool.

You get pop-up ads at LJ? If so, you must have some sort of spyware or adware on your hard drive. I use the free version of Lavasoft's Ad-aware to find and delete that sort of thing. If I could afford it, I'd buy the full version. There's probably stuff on my drive that the free version can't spot. But I don't get pop-ups at LJ.

Slight exaggeration on my part. I do get one annoying one from AOL right after I sign in, and usually I get some when there's a link to anything. They always come when you have the least time, making it feel like it happens more often.
All the recent delays and failures to open journals have been very annoying, especially when it says done, then doesn't open the file.
